What’s there for the kids?
We have a number of things going on to keep the little ones occupied. There are funfair rides and attractions, a Laser-Tag dome, lots of sweet treats (sorry) and plenty of craft stalls offering goodies for low cost to keep them happy.
We also have, new for this year, a miniature train they can ride around on – sounds like fun, right?

Yes. Parking is available within 50 yards of the entrance to the event. What’s better, is that it’s completely free! We also have a special disabled section for Blue Badge holders (limited spaces)

Our event is completely free to enter – that’s right, we don’t charge a gate! Come and have an enjoyable day out for nothing!

FAQ Number 9
What entertainment is on?
We have a great selection of entertainment for you. We have local music group S21 Live, along with winners of the annual talent competition ‘Eckington’s Got Talent’. We also have Dog Shows and Competitions, along with a fantastic solo performer in Steve Delaney (Facebook him, he’s great).
We also have new for this year, a pub-style quiz. Starting at around 6pm, there are great prizes to be won, so come and test your knowledge.
Happy New Year from all at the Eckington Summer Festival.
Preparations are underway for the 2018 event, which will be held on Saturday, 7th July 2018 and will hopefully add to the great success that was 2017. Stallholders, we’re taking applications now so head to the Stallholders tab of the site and complete the application form, and of course we have our ‘Contact Us’ tab where any questions will be well received.
We’re hoping to populate the Gallery at some point soon, to show you all the fun we had last year.
We’re within 2 weeks of the big day now, and things are all but complete for the organisation of this years’ Eckington Summer Festival.
We can’t wait to get going, and we hope you’re the same! If you haven’t yet booked your stall, places are becoming full so act quickly. Make sure you take a look on our social media pages to keep up to date with everything that’s going on too! Wouldn’t want to miss out!
Just confirmed in the last week, we have Zorb balls in attendance! For a small fee you can launch yourself, cased in a rubber ball, towards your loved ones and they won’t get hurt! Come along and give it a whirl!
Hope to see you on the 1st!
We’re getting scarily close to another #eckfest, and we can barely contain our excitement!
Plans are well on their way, and we have confirmed attractions such as live bands and entertainment, a fully licensed bar (18+), hot and cold food, craft stalls, children’s rides, dog shows and much, much more!
If you’re wanting a stall or to be involved on the day, simply complete the online contact form or email us at email@example.com.
We’re also offering this year a space in our event programme. This can be to advertise a product, cause, or just to get the word about. Prices are very reasonable so give us a shout if you have a new or existing business you want 1,000+ locals to hear about. Complete the online contact form or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your time – we’ll keep you posted
